The bubble was non existent in the morning flight today, as two exciting hands played out simultaneously to get us from 18 players to 16. On one table, eventual chip leader Kim Giffoni busted Papa Levy when his pocket tens caught up to Levy's pocket kings after a flop of Q-10-4.
At the same time, a short stack was all in against Jesus Delgadillo and Richard Lim. The turn showed [Js][9d][7c][9h], and Lim shoved all in on Delgadillo. He thought for quite a while before calling with [Ks][Jc], but he was drawing dead to the pocket jacks of the short stack, and the aces shown by Lim, who took home a nice side pot.
The second flight of the day is still open for registration until 8 Pm, and the Day 2 finals are on Saturday. Good luck all!
